The activity of the Structure is mainly focused on the following fields: • planning, supervision of projects tests and controls of the following system: - civil and industrial systems of environmental comfort , HVAC (air-conditioning, heating and cooling systems, refrigeration plants, heat exchanging and ventilation plants, radiators, convectors, fan-coils and panels plants), drying systems, hot-air heating plants, hot-water, superheated-water and steam systems, heating power stations, UPS and electricity-generating groups, energy recuperators, heating pumps, thermal and photovoltaic solar collectors systems, etc.; - systems for evacuation of combustion products (chimneys, fireplaces, flues, smoke conduits, individual and collective chimneys); - fire-detectioning and fire-extinguishing systems (hydrants, sprinklers, gas, etc.); - industrial accident prevention systems and antitheft systems with planning for active and passive systems for area protection; • optimization of heat and energy sistems managements, district heating systems, planning of managing and servicing for systems; • critical and uncritical re-examination of work-plans; • planning supervision, presentation and realization of works; • technical advices, forensic expertises and valutations, civil and criminal judicial examinations; • arbitrations and conciliations; • planning for the management of industrial services; • industrial management planning for construction of systems; • energetic optimization for thermotechnical systems; • risk analysis and safety planning for activities subjected to control; • planning of test and check of safety inspections for specific hazard areas; • university teaching qualifications for courses of study & refresher coures in specialized subjects; • specialized papers concerning: - fire safety; - accident prevention for industries and building yards; - safety for public places and specific hazard premises; - test and control of safety aids; - planning for construction of pressure vessels; - planning for construction of hot-water, superheated-water and steam systems; - planning for construction of diatermic fluid systems and energy recuperators systems; - planning for construction of solar collectors systems and chiller systems; - planning for construction of special systems; - thermal control systems; - atmospheric pollution control; - systems for disposal of combustion products; - certification, qualification and energetic diagnosis of buildings; - procedures for obtaining energy grants; - test and control of energy consumption reductions; - procedures for connecting gas and water plants to public pipes; - disposal of special refusals; - procedures for authorizations and concessions from ministeries and local authorities; - conformity and correspondence certifications.
